7am Arivu as 7th Sense

7am Arivu will be released in Telugu under the title 7th Sense.The Telugu version is going to release in the last week of October as a Diwali special. Shruti Haasan is going to make her debut in Tamil with this film. A R Murugadoss has directed the film and Harris Jayaraj has composed the music. It’s the first time since Ghajini that Surya, Murugadoss and Harris have come together for a film. Surya plays two different roles in the film, one as a circus artist and another as a Buddhist Monk. Ever since the film’s first look was launched, it has been making waves and there are several versions of what the story might be.
The film has been shot in Chennai, China, Bangkok and other exotic South-East Asian locales. A Vietnamese actor, Johnny Tri Nguyen has been cast as the villain in the film. Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer. Lakshmi Ganapathi Films have bought the dubbing rights for the Telugu version and it’s going to have a big release in Telugu as well. The Tamil version is going to release on October 26.

Surya's horse fetches record sum

Surya's costar in 7am Arivu has four legs! Since Surya plays a circus artiste in the film what could be more appropriate than a horse for a companion? Apparently this horse is a superbly trained specimen and was invaluable during the shooting. All the portions involving this animal superstar have been filmed so the team wanted to find a good place for the horse where it will be well looked after.

The horse was then put up for sale in a famous market town near Erode which has been functioning since Tipu Sultan's reign. Many livestock used in films have formerly been sold here for outrageous prices. But Surya's horse which was sold for a record sum of 5 lakhs has set the bar really high. The crew members waved it off as the star horse went away with its new owners.

7am Arivu dubbing rights locked by LGF

Lakshmi Ganapathi Films had brought in several successful dubbing films right from the Hollywood to Kollywood is back again. They have brought the locked the dubbing rights of 7am Arivu starring Surya, Shruthi Hassan for a sky-high price. 7am Arivu is directed by Murugadoss is high on expectations in Tamil and as well as Telugu.

Surya has good fan following Telugu as his earlier outings like Ghajini, Aaru, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Aadhavan and Singam turned out to be hits and received good collections at Tollywood box office. The title of the Telugu version is not yet confirmed but the dubbing works of the film are on the heels of completion with the dialogues written by Shashank Vennelakanti.

The chief of LGF confess that they faced heavy competition from top producers from Tollywood for snapping the rights. He is expecting that 7am Arivu will become big hit.

The dubbing version will release along with the Tamil version.

Surya to dazzle on stage

Surya's film with Murugadoss, opposite Shruti Hassan, 7am Arivu is nearing the finish line, and it is one of the most awaited films of the year. Apparently he plays a circus acrobat in the film and has worked hard to pull off this difficult role. Unit members were dazzled with the dizzying acrobatics he has performed in this film. They were so impressed that the makers begged him to show off some of his moves to the audience at the audio launch for the film which is to be held this month. Being the good sport he is, Surya has agreed.

This spectacular event is to take place at Nehru stadium and Kalaignar TV has obtained the broadcasting rights. Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies is producing the film. Therefore the trailer for his Oru Kal Oru Kannadi will also be released simultaneously. Not only Tamil cinema fans but even folks in Bollywood and the Telugu film industry are counting off the days to its release.

Murugadoss had reportedly turned down many Bollywood projects so that he could do this film! His confidence in his film and Surya is immense.

Surya’s 7am Arivu audio by August 20th

Good news!!! '7am Arivu' audio is all set to release in a grand manner around August 20th, 2011. The audio of 7am Arivu launch got postponed many times due to some official problems but now the filmmakers are keen to release the audio mostly before the above said date. The album has total of 6 songs including a Chinese track. The Chinese song is the special attraction of the album which was sung by mandarin singer Hau.

Surya will be performing nearly 10 astonishing feats live on stage along with some trained circus artistes which will be a special attraction of the audio launch.

Surya about 7am Arivu & Maatraan

Handsome hunk Surya has celebrated his birthday on the sets of his forthcoming film Maatraan, which had kicked started on Friday.

The actor has spent all the day shooting for the film and later in the evening, Surya celebrated his birthday was at home with family and close friends.

Surya said “I am happy to be back with KV Anand and it was just another day of work. I have just started the film and as of now I can’t reveal anything but can assure that it will entertain the audiences”.

On speaking about his forthcoming release 7am Arivu, he said ‘The film is something new and we have tried out to give something refreshing within the formats of commercial cinema”.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that the audio of sci-fi film 7am Arivu is going to release very soon as the final mixing of audio is happening at Harris Jayraj’s studio on a brisk pace.

We hope that the filmmakers will come out with a confirmed date of the audio launch atleast this time.

Surya's 'Maatraan' has seen an official movie launch, and this film will be directed by KV Anand, where Surya will be seen opposite Kajal Agarwal. Surya and KV Anand's earlier venture 'Ayan' was a blockbuster hit and expectations on this venture are sky-high.

Surya's Film to Beat Vijay’S Record in Bollywood

‘Singham’ remake in Hindi is all set to make a very big record as it has predicted 95% occupancy in all multiplexes and single screens across the country. Harris Jayaraj says 7am Arivu audio in July!

At a time when there is no clear indication when audios of Mankatha and Velayudham are being launched, Harris Jayaraj has thrown a googly.
Harris tweeted- “7am Arivu will be launched by end of this month”.
This has created more suspense and anxiety in the audio world. Please note Ajith’s Mankatha, Vijay’s Velayudham and Suriya’s 7am Arivu audio are being released by the market leader Sony Music.

Earlier there were reports that Mankatha audio will release on July 18 and Velayudham on July 21. But producers of both these films are silent about the launch date. Now with 7am Arivu joining the fray it will create chaos in the audio market.
An audio dealer said: “We can’t have three big ticket audios coming out from the same company within a span of a fortnight.
All three films Mankatha, Velayudham and 7am Arivu have superstars, and if their audios hit the market around the same time, it will eat into each others business and create unhealthy competition.”

Maatraan on hold

Surya's next Maatraan with KV Anand is scheduled to commence only after his younger brother, Karthi's wedding, which will take place on July 3rd. The wedding will be a traditional, intimate affair with only family and friends attending. A grand reception will be held on July 11th. Surya is very busy with preparations for the wedding.

Surya’s next movie Maatraan with K.V Anand is all set to start soon. The duo has earlier given one of Kollywood’s Biggest Box office hits in it history through Ayan.
