Surya gets 15 cr salary, 15 cr forTelugu rights?

If the latest buzz is true, then it looks like Suriya has now become the highest paid star in K-Town. Trade sources are claiming the actor is getting paid ` 15 crore outright salary and ` 15
crore for the Telugu rights for his film with Lingusamy. If this is indeed true, then it puts the actor at the top of the big league in Kollywood.

A trade source, on condition of anonymity, tells us, "Suriya has a number of films lined up, both for release and for which he will start work on this year. And he will receive ` 30 crore for his latest film, which includes the ` 15 crore Telugu rights of the movie as well." The actor has a very big market in Andhra Pradesh as his popularity has been growing extensively over the last few years.

Suriya to work with Rajamouli?

The bilingual is likely to go on floors by the end of next year

After the success of his recent Tamil-Telugu bilingual Naan Ee, we hear Rajamouli is planning another bilingual. And it seems the ace director is keen on roping in Suriya for this flick. The project in question will be produced by Tollywood producer Dhanayya. A source close to the producer confirms the news, “Dhanayya is in talks with Suriya and Rajamouli for a possible project. Suriya will be meeting with the producer in Hyderabad once he is back from Singapore. And in all probability, the two will give their go ahead. It will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, and will go on floors by the end of next year.”
