Actress Anjali, who recently moved to Hyderabad after telling the media that she feared for her life here, returned to Tamil Nadu to shoot for a song in Suriya’s upcoming Singam II. The actress was in Tuticorin on Sunday to complete the special song, which has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Anjali had shot for the song much earlier but director Hari had to cancel the last day’s shoot due to rains. They had then flown to South Africa to shoot the
other portions. Now, with the team back in India for the final shoot in Tuticorin, we hear they had asked the actress to come over to finish the song. Says a source, “It was only for a day and Anjali flew down to the port city to complete her portions. Suriya too was part of the shoot.” On April 8, Anjali had gone incommunicado after alleging that her stepmom Bharathi Devi and director Kalanjiyam were harassing her. She had surfaced later and shot for the Telugu remake of Bol Bachchan with Venkatesh. Director Kalanjiyam, meanwhile, has approached the various bodies in Kollywood seeking action against the actress as she failed to turn up for the shoot of his film, Oor Suttri Puranam, on April 24.
