But for
his film, director KV Anand has gone back to the roots. He has approached
popular lyricists for penning the songs for Suriya and Kajal starrer Maatran.
Lyricist Viveka, Na Muthukumar, Thamarai, Madhan Karky and Pa Vijay have all
written songs for the film. It was Anand's idea to bring in all these talented
and versatile lyricists to pen the songs.
