After working hard for months without even taking a small break, Surya seems to be in a mood to holiday. "It has been a long time sine I had been out with my family members. Every Sunday I would promise to be with Jyothika and kids, but unable to honour it due to professional commitments," he says.
Quiz him on his favourite destination with family, pat comes the reply from the '7aum Arivu' actor. "No doubt it's Africa. I always wanted to take Jo, Diya and Dev there since they like animals a lot. Also, they love to see historical places."
Surya's interest for Africa was ignited when he was shooting there for KV Anand's 'Ayan' a couple of years ago. "It is a beautiful and quite unassuming place. A safari in the deep jungles of Africa would be a perfect treat for my wife and kids. Hopefully we would go there soon."
On his forthcoming venture 'Maatraan', he says, "It will once again be a commercial movie with a difference from KV Anand. I am so happy to work with him and would love to do so again and again. The shooting is nearing completion and an official announcement on my next will be made soon."
